What to Wear: Spring 2020

Amidst the chaos in our world today, it’s easy to fall into a pit of isolation and despair. However, it’s times like these that we should try to keep to our normal routines and strive to look and feel our best. Sometimes dressing nicely and getting glammed up for the day can really lift a woman’s spirit and boost their confidence. With plenty of time on my hands, I’ve been able to narrow down popular trends that some of the top fashion designers and experts anticipate this Spring.

What to wear?

When you want to dress business casual, rock any blazer over a simple t-shirt to look simply classy!

Metallic/Sequins

Add shine to any outfit when you wear dazzling sequin dresses or flashy metallic pants!

What colors to wear?

Pops of pink

If you’re looking for that wow factor, make a bold statement with your outfit when you dress in hot pink accessories!

Pastels

What better season than spring to wear soft, pastel-colored apparel!

Black and white

Black and white items of clothing, collectively or on their own, go with just about anything. Open many options for accessories with any pop of color when you wear this classic look!

What nails to wear?

Pastels

This spring paint your nails any pastel shade if you want to don a delicate, yet elegant color!

Metallic

Matte

This matte nail polish would look stunning with any look, and is a great way to add color to an outfit without being too extreme or intense!

The fashionista in me was thoroughly impressed with my findings. I have discovered some great, easy looks that I will surely be trying out this spring!

Who Am I?

Who am I? I’m just like you.
Though my disability never taught me to walk,
to this poem I give thanks, for making my dreams come true.

Without this escape I haven’t a clue,
just who I’d be if I didn’t have my pen to talk.
Who am I? I’m just like you.

I never took my first steps, put yourself in my shoes.
In myself I wouldn’t change a thing, is it such a shock?
To this poem I give thanks, for making my dreams come true.

I can achieve anything I set my mind to, and even if it takes me a little longer to put on my socks,
Who am I? I’m just like you.

I won’t say I’ve never wanted to give up a time or two,
but no limitations can ever get me to stop.
To this poem I give thanks, for making my dreams come true.

In writing this poem, it feels as if time flew,
getting lost in my passion, too immersed in my paper to glance up at the clock.
While you are here on Earth walking, skipping, dancing, flying you will be someday soon, here I am rolling my way through life, yet in heaven I’ll be running too.
